On the evening of December 2nd, we are a couple living in Yokohama who enjoyed a course dinner. We crossed the bridge from the bustling area of Katamachi and walked a bit along the Saigawa River, where we found a lovely building resembling a traditional town house with red checkered patterns on the right side, which was our destination restaurant. The first half of the course featured a variety of seafood dishes made with the bounty of the Sea of Japan, and for the main course, my wife chose grilled Golden Pork, while I opted for beef stew in red wine. Both were very delicious, and both the chef and the madam were excellent hosts. We enjoyed our conversation and spent a blissful time. I felt that it was a restaurant I would like to visit again.

In a calm space renovated from an old town house, you feel at ease the moment you enter. The food is served in a chef's choice style, coming out one after another until you say 'stop', and the excitement of not knowing what will come next is enjoyable. Each dish has a modest portion, which is great because it allows you to try various flavors while drinking sake. The fresh sashimi, crispy kakiage, and fluffy fried horse mackerel all highlighted the quality of the ingredients, and I was impressed. The kind owner has experience cooking in the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, and you can feel that background in the careful preparation. I was completely satisfied even with the final sake lees ice cream, and I think it's a wonderful place that warms the heart.

May Satsuki Course From the presentation of the English-language newspaper Kabuto Kabuto to the dishes that can only be enjoyed here, I was continuously thrilled and impressed from start to finish. The warm consideration of the proprietress was also very pleasant. As recommended by the chef, we started with the crabmeat. The fourth bowl of rice with Japanese yam and Japanese mullet roe was too good to be true. I was so impressed that I wanted my good friend who loves delicious food to enjoy the same wonderful impression I had last time.

This is a store (eat-in only) that serves a delicious Japanese chestnut Mont Blanc. It was my favorite mont blanc without sponge (fresh cream inside the chestnut).
