In Kochi, grilled bonito with straw is a must-try. Unlike the regular tataki grilled over charcoal, you can enjoy tataki infused with the aroma of straw. While it is usually eaten with ponzu sauce, at our restaurant, we serve it with Tosa-style yuzu vinegar, coarse salt from Kochi, sliced garlic, and ginger for a delicious experience. Delicious ways to enjoy it: 1. First, try it as is with Kochi salt! 2. Pile on plenty of onions and myoga, and add ginger or garlic! 3. Enjoy it with the familiar yuzu vinegar from Kochi! (Yuzu ponzu is also great!)
