"The Ultimate Hinai Chicken Oyakodon" leads a rich lineup of chicken and meat dishes including charcoal-grilled Hinai chicken, yakitori, and beef tongue. Located in the basement of a shopping complex directly connected to Sendai Station, with excellent access. The roughly 46-seat interior includes counter seating, sofa seats, and private-room spaces, accommodating a variety of uses from solo drinks to groups. With a Japanese-modern atmosphere, it’s easy to enjoy local sake and relaxed meals — a space that balances casualness and calm.

Opened in March 2005, it has since operated as a Japanese izakaya centered on Hinai jidori (Hinai chicken). Making use of its convenient location directly connected to Sendai Station, it is widely supported by both local customers and travelers, and has become established as a reliable restaurant that can accommodate everything from lunch to evening drinks and banquets.

Mr. Aoki, President and CEO of Hummingbird International Co., Ltd., which operates Aburiya Jubei, was born in Sendai and returned to Japan after studying in the United States. He has been involved in expanding the business at the long-established pasta shop “Hummingbird.” Since taking office in 2015, he has also put effort into launching new business formats and now operates multiple brands. He is an executive dedicated to employee training and the development of local human resources.
