Nestled in a quiet corner of Nagoya, this hidden gem invites you to experience a heartwarming time.
The interior is surprisingly bright for a basement, and the row of wines lined up across the counter elevates the mood. The French-based dishes combined with miso and koji are all richly aromatic, and each bite spreads umami. The homemade chicken ham is topped with a rich dressing made from soy milk and barley miso, and the moist texture of the meat was irresistible. The peanut dauphinoise has a delightful fluffy texture, and its gentle sweetness is memorable. The pâté with red miso and chicken thighs stewed with white miso and tomatoes pair excellently with wine, making you want to keep sipping. Even the miso chocolate terrine after the meal provided a satisfying experience, leaving both my stomach and heart filled with happiness.
