Nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood, the warm hospitality of the master creates a comfortable atmosphere inside. From beef cutlets and shrimp tempura to hamburgers, every dish boasts authentic flavors, and the jumbo chicken cutlet, with its crispy coating and two types of sauce, is particularly exquisite.
Tadotsu is a famous udon restaurant where you can enjoy aromatic curry udon and authentic Sanuki udon. The interior is clean and has a pleasant atmosphere. The diverse menu also includes a selection of alcoholic beverages, making it popular among a wide range of age groups. Its convenient access adds to its appeal, allowing for easy visits.
I ordered the Laughing Man set meal. The taste was of course delicious. The volume was also generous. The restaurant was almost full, but the price was only 500 yen, which seemed inexpensive. Although it seems to consider support for the restaurant, I would recommend this restaurant even if you look at it objectively. In addition, we often use this restaurant because we live in the neighborhood. It seems to be run by a couple, and although they are young, they are wonderful. I highly recommend it.

The yuukke and the whale and deer roe sashimi are also well known for their elegance and deliciousness. Kobe beef steak, in particular, is highly recommended and should be ordered with confidence due to the high cost performance of the steaks. Taegeuktan soup and Taiwanese fried noodles are also popular menu items, favored by a wide range of people. A certain actor born in 1954 who is well-known locally and a former Orix watchdog also visit the restaurant and enjoy the friendly atmosphere.

BONGU is a restaurant that opened in 2023, renovated from a former rice shop building. The dishes prepared by the chef, showcasing his skill in bringing out the flavors of the ingredients to the fullest, are a highlight. Particularly renowned are the creative dishes featuring Awaji beef and seafood, which bring surprise and delight. Paired with matching wines, it offers a heartwarming dining experience.
The calm atmosphere of the back alley feels like a little hideaway. It has a counter, tables, and even private rooms, making it very convenient. The chicken sashimi with plenty of green onions is fresh and has a strong umami flavor. The wagyu tataki pairs well with ponzu, leaving a refreshing aftertaste. There is also a rich variety of teppan dishes like okonomiyaki and yakisoba, all of which are satisfying. The tongue with onion sauce and the Kobe pork samgyeopsal were also memorable in taste.
I was about to give up on seasonal firefly squid shabu-shabu, but it was prepared for me. It was plump and very delicious. I was satisfied with everything, including the skewers, rice balls, and the dessert, which was the silly ice cream.

Established for 32 years, Mabo Hanten has been cherished by locals for many years. Their homemade Chinese dishes are hearty yet not greasy, offering a comforting and enjoyable taste. The interior of the renovated house is spacious with high ceilings, allowing for a relaxed atmosphere. It is furnished with vintage-style furniture and stylish tableware, creating a very pleasant ambiance. The 100% Wagyu beef patty is rich in flavor, juicy, and pairs well with the fragrant buns, fresh vegetables, and perfectly melted cheese. The sauce has a slightly junky feel, with a good balance of saltiness that makes it enjoyable to eat until the end. The skin-on fries are freshly fried, crispy, and fluffy, with a delightful aroma that makes you want to reach for more. There are terrace seats available, and pets are welcome, which is great, along with the burger bags provided for easy eating.
For lunch on weekdays, the yakiniku donburi is excellent and very inexpensive. The to-go steak bowls are especially generous and cosy. The number of customers has been increasing recently, but the taste and satisfaction are as great as ever.
There are counter seats, making it easy to enjoy grilled meat even alone. The variety of sashimi and offal is abundant, and the number of fresh cow's stomach makes you smile. The sweet sauce pairs well, allowing for a refreshing eating experience. You can choose the thickness of the black tongue sashimi, and its rich flavor is the best. For grilled items, the cheek and skirt steak are plump and tender, with the sauce just right. The service is smooth, and the staff shows the meat while explaining the cuts, which is reassuring.
SOBA Manmaru is a restaurant where you can enjoy fragrant handmade soba in a cozy atmosphere that feels like being invited to a relative's home. A variety of soba dishes are offered, including duck broth soba and duck nanban soba, with the deliciousness of the broth standing out. The thickness of the soba and the sweetness of the dipping sauce are exquisite, making it popular among people from the Kanto region. As a rare soba shop in the Kasuganomichi area, it is loved by the locals.
