We had a lovely experience eating at the counter at Tempura Fukamachi. Unfortunately, we were seated right in front where the oil splatter covers were, so we couldn't really see what the chefs were doing... but whatever magic they worked... the food was delicious. All the food was perfectly cooked, and despite everything being fried, I did not feel like the meal was oily at all. Normally, I can't handle eating too many fried items, but the omakase lunch was so good I look forward to eating there again!

It was the cheapest course, but every dish was incredibly delicious. The staff came right away when our eyes met, and they also adjusted the air conditioning temperature individually, showing great attention to detail. Since we visited on a Saturday at noon, the restaurant seemed a bit crowded, but because we were in a private room, we were able to talk and take photos at our leisure, which made me very satisfied. The grilled Ezo-deer in a salted kettle is excellent, the meat is very tender and has no smell. The basque cheesecake is also delicious and very satisfying to the end.
