The vegetable-centered lunch was very colorful and exciting. The steamed pork and vegetables in a bamboo steamer released a gentle aroma of steam, and I enjoyed the flavor variations with ponzu sauce and homemade sesame dressing. The appetizer platter had each dish seasoned with fermented condiments, making it hard to put down my chopsticks. The rice with black rice and the gentle miso soup combined to warm my body. The carrot cake for dessert was moist, and the texture of the raisins and walnuts provided a nice accent. The small shop had a calm atmosphere, and the staff were attentive, allowing me to enjoy a wonderful time savoring the seasons slowly.
