The entrance to the restaurant is rather narrow, and as you proceed down a long corridor, you will find yourself in a very large space. The interior of the restaurant is beautifully decorated, recreating the atmosphere of the end of the Edo period. The food was full of surprises, and each delicious dish served in a bowl made of ice looked like a wonderful work of art, which we enjoyed not only eating but also looking at and taking pictures of. This restaurant is a place where you can enjoy fine Kyoto cuisine, visited by famous people from the end of the Edo period.
