This course upgrades the daily lunch appetizer to "Western-style sashimi of freshly caught fish," the soup to "thick cream soup with shrimp" and the dessert to "baked pudding (crème brûlée). Please take this opportunity to enjoy a variety of our specialty dishes. For the main dish, please choose from meat, fish, or Yamagata beef hamburger steak. Our 6th generation Grand Chef Igarashi uses carefully selected ingredients such as fresh seafood from Shonai Beach and Yamagata beef to create a special menu just for you. The 'Gasa Ebi' (official name: Kurozakoe Bi) is a precious ingredient caught in Shonai Bay, which is not widely distributed outside the Sakata area. Although small, it has a very strong umami flavor and has been used in home cooking locally for a long time. In our restaurant, we generously use this Gasa Ebi, carefully simmering it with the shells to concentrate the flavor. We enhance the aroma with fragrant vegetables and brandy, finishing it smoothly with fresh cream. When you take a bite, the rich, roasted shellfish aroma spreads first, followed by a gentle sweetness. It is one of our specialties that has received great acclaim from customers visiting for tourism and travel, who say, 'You can only taste this here.' This recipe has been passed down since our establishment in 1974, allowing you to fully experience the bountiful blessings of the rich sea of Shonai.

We offer fresh fish caught in Shonai Bay, prepared as carpaccio or marinated according to the day's catch. Unlike simple Japanese sashimi, the French style enhances the natural flavors of the fish by combining it with olive oil, herbs, and citrus. The recommended fish varies with the seasons; in spring, we have sea bream, in summer, rock oysters and sea bass, in autumn, Spanish mackerel, and in winter, cod and flounder, allowing you to enjoy the rich blessings of Shonai's sea throughout the year.
