Nakazaki-cho's popular yakiniku is too good to stop for a conversation. | FT.com Exterior view Teien is located between Nakazaki-cho and Tenroku. The red signboard and faded brickwork create a nice atmosphere. Interior Three tables for four and six seats at the counter. Dishes Wagyu beef loin ¥1,750 (As the name "misuji" indicates, this dish is made from the part of the loin that is closer to the shoulder meat. This was very tasty. The moment when the sweetness of the meat melted together with the marbling was such a moving moment that the conversation that had been going on up to that point came to a halt. I hope that everyone can experience this moment. Wagyu beef top tongue ¥1,400 The green thing is garlic. It turns green when a compound in garlic oxidizes and combines with iron. There is no problem in eating it. They are incredibly tasty. Every time you feel the crunchy texture, the original flavor of the tongue and the garlic flavor will sweep your mouth. Wagyu beef top halami 1,350 yen It was served on the same plate as the top loin I mentioned earlier. The flavor is as good as that of the top loin. I am writing this article at 9:00 a.m., but I already feel like eating it. Striped Chow ¥750 Hormone is also very tasty. The tteokchang gave me a sweet taste that I had never tasted before. My taste buds have been opened up. Kokoro & Tsurami The left is kokoro and the right is tsurumi. They are also delicious, Top Mino (mino) ¥880 This is also good. All the meats were of the highest grade of deliciousness. Sake Draft beer ¥500 There is no such thing as a yakiniku restaurant where beer does not go down well, but it goes down especially well at Teien. The taste of the meat is one thing, but the atmosphere of the restaurant probably has something to do with it. Highball Whiskey, Whiskey, makgeolli We even had makgeolli. We were all hungover. It was great. Price 27,000 yen (4 people) The average budget per person should be lower. We drank about 20 glasses of sake. And we only ate meat with "top" price. So, the average should be around 5,000 yen. What about similar restaurants? Ikuno] "Yakiniku dining Inaho Momoya] "Kawahara Tenroku] "Yakiniku Nobu Restaurants similar to "Teien". What about nearby restaurants? Tenma] "Horumon Nagaoka Nakazaki-cho] "Yakiniku Tamaki Restaurants within walking distance from "Teien". Summary As a result of a fierce competition between "I don't want it to go viral" and "I want everyone to know about it," the latter won just in time, so I have introduced it here (don't go #too far). We hope you will enjoy it too. The blog version is here↓↓. https://kitameshi.com/kitameshi/teien/ Insta version is here↓↓ https://www.instagram.com/kita.gourmet/
