【Tokyo Nishiazabu】 A renowned restaurant that offers Sichuan cuisine, nurtured in the culinary capital of Sichuan Province, tailored to the Japanese sensibility that enhances the original flavors of the ingredients. I used a private room for lunch for the first time to celebrate a friend's birthday. The room was so spacious that it felt like a waste for just two people, and it was very comfortable. [Lunch] Shark Fin Course (Private Room) ◇ Tofu Salad with Karasumi The sauce and karasumi matched perfectly and were very delicious. ◇ Corn Soup Plenty of corn with a great texture! ◇ Four Types of Steamed Dim Sum The four types included edamame steamed dumplings, basil shrimp dumplings, shumai, and curry-flavored meat buns. Among the entire course, the basil was particularly delicious. ◇ Two Types of Xiao Long Bao The black one is truffle, and the red one is spicy with mala! ◇ Beef with Mala Sauce Eggplant is placed underneath, which pairs well with grated daikon. ◇ Fried Fresh Fish ◇ Shark Fin Rice with Sauce Plenty of shark fin, tender and delicious. ◇ Char Siu Noodles Rich white broth, with plenty of green onions and shiitake mushrooms. ◇ Mango Pudding *Birthday plate for my friend There were hints of summer ingredients centered around vegetables. The cost performance is indeed very good. I heard that the course content changes every two months, so I definitely want to visit again in a different season.

Roppongi, Nishiazabu, Tokyo This is a famous restaurant of Szechuan Chinese cuisine by Mr. Sasa, who had worked as the head chef at "4000 Chinese Restaurant" in Hiroo. I visited for the first time for lunch as it was recommended by many foodies around me. Shark's fin and small basket course only available on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays Chicken Fillet with hot and spicy sauce The chicken was fresh and almost raw. It was very tasty. The okra hidden underneath is a summery dish. ◇Clam soup The green chili pepper was well used and it was spicy but tasty. Four kinds of steamed dim sum The basil dumpling and shrimp dumpling were delicious. They were bigger than I expected and the volume was huge. LOL! Two kinds of small basket dumplings Truffle dumpling and hot and spicy dumpling. Wagyu beef with garlic sauce. The eggplant hiding underneath is delicious and plump. Young corn spring roll Shark's fin rice with starchy sauce It looks heavy but it is not too heavy. Chilled noodles I was scared of the spiciness because it looked so red, but it was not that spicy, but rich and delicious! Lychee pudding The overall course may be a bit heavy on the carbohydrates, but it was very easy to eat and tasty. I would definitely visit this restaurant again. The restaurant looks like a square house in a quiet residential area of Nishiazabu, so be careful not to get lost.
