Sitting at the L-shaped counter, the delightful aroma of skewers being held over binchotan charcoal spreads before me, filling me with excitement. The skewers of red chicken from Satsuma, perfectly cooked, burst with umami with every bite, bringing happiness. The small plates featuring that day's organic vegetables and pickled nuka are beautifully colorful and perfect as palate cleansers. The rhythm of the course, from rice cooked over charcoal to creamy white soup, keeps things interesting until the very end. The calm interior, primarily in black, is comfortable, allowing me to enjoy the skewers in a relaxed mood. Thanks to the omakase style that continues until the signal to stop, I was able to fully immerse myself in the world of yakitori at my own pace.
