I got myself together and went to the second candidate, Chidoritei.
We were lucky to get in because they had just switched places!

Inside the restaurant, there were 3 counter seats and 2 tables, I think.
It's a small, cozy restaurant, but it's very clean.
I heard from a reviewer that the mackerel sushi here is delicious, so you can't miss the mackerel sushi!

It comes with chirashi sushi, maki sushi, pressed conger eel sushi, mackerel sushi, and soup!
I thought the chirashi might be steamed sushi. I thought it might be steamed sushi, but it was just regular chirashi!
It was hot, so this was fine, but I was a little disappointed (sweat) because I assumed so.
It was a light and easy to eat chirashi.
The sushi rolls and conger eel were just as good as usual!
But what was exceptionally delicious was the mackerel sushi!

The rice has a slight sweetness to it, and I really like the way the rice is finished.

I was afraid to carry it around in the heat, so I gave up!

I found an unusual restaurant specializing in Kyoto-style sushi and went in. I was sightseeing in Kyoto and had high expectations since the restaurant was popular in the food logs. I ordered one sushi set and one set of Mushi Sushi and Kyo Sushi. The mackerel sushi was moist and semi-raw, and the maki sushi and mushi-zushi were all delicious. I was glad to be able to enjoy the unique taste of Kyoto.
