The course is a seasonal omakase (leave it up to the chef) course, which is carefully prepared with the freshest fish (sashimi) of the day and other ingredients that are delicious at that time of the year. This is the standard course at Wasshoku Reiju, which can be enjoyed in a casual manner.
This is a well-balanced course that allows you to enjoy the popular menu of Wasoku Reiju, including grilled, simmered, and deep-fried dishes, as well as the closing meal. For starters, we offer sashimi selected from the freshest fish available that day and the popular nameko. The grilled fish can be simply "Shioyaki", "Saikyoyaki" with a hint of sweetness, or "Yuzu Yuzu" with a hint of sweetness. Yuzu-an-yaki," which has a fresh yuzu aroma, is available to suit the fish of the season. The "Chef's Pork Stew" is made with "Oizumi Pork," a brand-name pork produced in Miyagi Prefecture, and is one of Reiju's specialties. To top off the meal, we offer Reiju's specialty, dashi chazuke, which is a combination of bonito and kelp broth. The dish is served with a generous amount of katsuo (bonito) and konbu (kelp) broth.
The main grilled dish is the highlight of this course, Sendai Kuroge Wagyu sirloin steak and seasonal grilled fish. The course is a full and satisfying meal that begins with an appetizer, continues with the day's seasonal sashimi, and ends with the final meal and dessert. The fresh seafood, seasonal ingredients, and seasonal decorations are a feast for the eyes as well as the palate.
