White liver is said to have a flavor similar to foie gras, known as a luxury ingredient due to its richness. It has a pale appearance with little odor, featuring a fluffy texture like mousse and a smooth mouthfeel with a rich taste. The recommended pairing is salt, allowing you to enjoy the umami of the ingredient as it is.

The parts of the oviduct and ovary through which the kinkan passes until the egg is laid are called 'himo'.
