Habu sake is famous as an Okinawan liquor. It is made by placing a venomous snake, the habu, in a bottle and pouring in a high-alcohol beverage such as awamori or brandy, then allowing it to mature. Many people in Okinawa drink it to boost their energy when they feel a bit tired. The visual impact is significant as a whole habu is submerged in the bottle! Additionally, its high alcohol content provides a strong drinking experience.
This liqueur is made with carefully selected Awamori from Seifuku Brewery, blended with refreshing and aromatic 100% domestic yuzu and the vibrant flavor of Okinawa's local shikuwasa. The rich acidity of yuzu and shikuwasa is perfectly balanced with the deep umami of Awamori, creating an incredibly easy-to-drink beverage that is completely different from traditional Awamori-based liqueurs.
