The balance of spiciness from chili peppers (la) and Sichuan pepper (ma) is exquisite. In particular, the Sichuan pepper from China's Sichuan Province has a very strong aroma and is characterized by a unique umami and spiciness that numbs the tongue. Without this Sichuan pepper, it is impossible to achieve the true flavor of Mapo Tofu. Since aroma is essential, we grind the Sichuan peppercorns after receiving your order. The table-side green Sichuan pepper powder is a luxurious seasoning made from whole (entire) green Sichuan peppercorns sourced directly from Sichuan Province without going through a trading company. It has an aromatic quality that is not found in commercially available green Sichuan pepper or Hua Jiao. Lunch set is 800 yen, dinner a la carte is 780 yen, set meal +100 yen (+70 yen for extra spicy).

However, with the Fatigue Set, you can enjoy it for just 980 yen. Drinks start from 290 yen for highballs and 390 yen for draft beer, so even if you add more drinks, it will still be within 1400 yen♪
