Chiwaki

At Chiwaki, diners can enjoy dishes using fresh ingredients nurtured by the nature of Okutama. Set menus and a la carte dishes that take advantage of local ingredients such as wild vegetables, mushrooms, and river fish are especially popular, such as ayu no kamado gohan and mushroom hamburger steak. The restaurant also offers gibier dishes such as roasted deer meat, allowing diners to fully enjoy the bounty of nature.

The interior of the restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere, making use of an old house built more than 100 years ago, and features an entrance hall with a wood-burning stove. The brightly lit interior, with natural light streaming in, allows visitors to feel the warmth of the wood and spend a relaxing time. Combined with the surrounding natural environment, it is a space where you can relax both physically and mentally.

Chiwaki is a 100+ year old private home that was relocated from Niigata, and serves food made from fresh ingredients grown by the nature of Okutama. The restaurant continues to offer visitors healing and delicious food in a space in harmony with nature, with dishes that make the most of local ingredients and an entrance hall with a wood-burning stove.
