The homemade roasted pork at the meat shop outside Tsukiji is very appealing. There are cuts from the shoulder loin and the thigh; if you want to enjoy the richness of the fat, the shoulder loin is the way to go, while the thigh is better for a lighter taste. It comes with a sauce, and when sliced and added to ramen or fried rice, it greatly enhances the flavor. It also pairs well with cucumbers or when mixed with sesame oil or mayonnaise, making it easy to use at home. The packaging is careful, wrapped in paper similar to paraffin paper, ensuring safe transport. The staff is friendly, offering samples and engaging in conversation, creating a bright atmosphere.
