We discovered this incredible restaurant thanks to Paola’s YouTube channel. When we booked our Japan trip we made reservations to come here. We were secretly hoping to meet the legendary blue-haired grandma, but even without meeting her, the experience was unforgettable.
From the moment we arrived, the owner was exceptionally warm, hospitable, and welcoming. You can feel how much they genuinely value every customer who walks in. The atmosphere was cozy and the food was delicious. We finished everything we ordered! The cabbage roll is an absolute must try.
This place is truly special and worth traveling for.
The atmosphere was nice. This is a family owned and run restaurant. The staff were amazing. Preparing tempura for a full house is challenging. The value proposition was a bit tight as well. Overall, it was a nice experience.

Chef Ozaki and Tom are an amazing duo! Don't be worried about the requirement of speaking Japanese. Tom and the staff are welcoming and warm and enjoy having many overseas customers! The dishes are excellent when paired! We left rolling out the door. You can order an extra or two special dish if you want even more food! You won't leave hungry! A must go to for an omakase experience. Will come back to collect the other stickers.

We loved the atmosphere and the chef was amazing. The menu had a nice balance. Some bites were certainly better than others, (the desert wasn't really special at all), but it was nice to try everything anyway. We loved the way they put wasabi and the right amount of soy into each bite. Very affordable too!
