Yakitori Uno

A restaurant where it is difficult to make reservations to taste Date chicken yakitori. The owner, Seiichi Uno, opened Yakitori Uno in 2011 after gaining experience at Yakitori Sasaya. The restaurant has 15 seats at the counter, where customers can enjoy their meal while watching the owner cook. The charcoal used for the yakitori is Kishu binchotan, and the chicken is juicy Fukushima Date chicken. The main yakitori dishes include a wide variety of items, from standard items to rare parts such as "aka" (red). The "oyakodon," a bowl of rice topped with a chicken and egg, is also excellent and well-balanced in terms of the degree to which the egg is cooked and the amount of rice used.
