I bought a fish bento at the basement of Daimaru in Tokyo Station. It comes in a two-tiered box, allowing you to enjoy plenty of rice and side dishes. The grilled silver cod is tender, and the richness of the fat spreads happiness. The seasoning is not too strong, and it has a nice balance with a hint of smokiness. The side dishes, including simmered vegetables, hijiki seaweed, and deep-fried shishito peppers, are all carefully prepared, and each one is delightful to eat. The rice is shiny, making it enjoyable to finish until the very last bite.
