Sushi Kosaka

The fish used in the menu is a typical Fukuoka lineup, which is a delight for visitors from outside of the prefecture. The rice is small and well cooked. The dishes are served with a strong emphasis on "dashi," the basic ingredient of Japanese cuisine, and make the best use of the original taste of the ingredients.

In a simple, clean space, diners can enjoy their meals at a counter set up with beautiful white wood. Seating is only at the counter, making it easy for a single person to enjoy a meal. The interior of the restaurant, with its red walls behind the dipping area, gives a modern impression while maintaining a relaxed, non-flamboyant atmosphere.

Sushi Kosaka was opened in the fall of 2001 by Seiji Kosaka, who trained at the famous Fukuoka sushi restaurant Yamanaka. Known for its exquisite sushi and pleasant service, the restaurant is beloved by regular customers.

After training at "Yamanaka," which has produced many artisans in Fukuoka, he experienced setting up a new restaurant. After working as a manager, he became independent in the fall of 2001 and opened "Sushi Kosaka," which he had longed for. He is passionate about preserving this restaurant, his starting point, for the rest of his life.
