Hiroshima Prefecture's sake is characterized by a variety of flavors, including sweet, dry, and fruity. In particular, many smooth and easy-to-drink sakes are produced using the 'soft water brewing method' that utilizes soft water. Hiroshima is one of Japan's three major sake brewing regions, alongside Fushimi in Kyoto and Nada in Hyogo. There are sake breweries throughout the prefecture, offering a rich selection of famous brands and rare sakes. The taste varies depending on the brewery and brand, allowing you to enjoy tasting comparisons.

Recommended cold sake from Asahi Shuzo in Yamaguchi Prefecture, this Junmai Daiginjo sake is made by polishing the king of sake rice, Yamada Nishiki, to 45%.
