Sapporo, Hokkaido, is home to numerous renowned restaurants where reservations are nearly impossible to secure. Among them, “Sushi no Kura” stands out in particular, captivating the hearts of food connoisseurs and holding them spellbound. In a space with just six seats, the experience—where small plates paired with sake and nigiri sushi come together—is precisely why reservations are booked solid months in advance. At our restaurant—a sister establishment to Sushi no Kura—we carry on the “essence” of Sushi no Kura while further refining our offerings to suit the atmosphere of Gion. We take great care to serve you original sushi creations and exquisite dishes, each prepared with meticulous attention to detail right down to the final course. The course price varies between approximately ¥22,000 and ¥24,200, depending on the seasonal seafood sourced that day. Please feel free to contact us for more details. Appetizers: 6–7 items; Nigiri: 10–11 pieces; Miso soup; Dessert: The menu listed is an example only. Items are subject to change depending on the season and availability.
This limited-time, specially curated course retains the flow and lingering aftertaste of our standard Omakase course while adding a touch of elegance with the flavors of our finest ingredients. Winter crab is rich in umami, with sweet, fragrant meat; eel is grilled over charcoal until plump and tender, leaving a moist, lingering aftertaste; and bluefin tuna is carefully prepared to bring out the unique characteristics of each cut, served as the “Seasonal Whole Fish,” where fat, aroma, and umami harmoniously blend. A quiet, luxurious moment to accompany your evening in Gion. Please enjoy this fleeting moment of seasonal transition with both your palate and your heart. *Please make reservations for this course at least one day in advance. Standard A La Carte Dishes: 3–4 items; Standard Nigiri: 6–7 pieces; Specialty Crab Dish; Specialty Eel Dish; Specialty Bluefin Tuna (O-toro, Chū-toro, Akami); Miso Soup; Dessert. The menu above is an example only. Items are subject to change depending on the season and availability.
