This is a restaurant where you can leisurely enjoy Kaga cuisine. The atmosphere is pleasant, with both counter seating and private rooms, allowing for a calm dining experience. The dishes made with duck from the traditional hunting method are very impressive, and the umami is enhanced even with just salt. The thick Jibu-ni (a type of stew) becomes even more aromatic when eaten with wasabi. The crab rice comes with small side dishes, miso soup, and dessert, and the tableware, including Yamanaka lacquerware and Kutani ware, is lovely. Even the final rice porridge is very satisfying, and the white shrimp tempura is fragrant and delightful.

As always, I enjoyed it quietly and deliciously. However, it was my first time, and even at the opening time of 11:00, it was dark and there were no people in sight, which made me anxious about whether they would open. After a little while, a staff member came out to explain that they would be opening, and then the lights turned on and they opened.
The calm atmosphere and decor were lovely.
I thought it would be nice if there was a separate room where I could have meals and coffee with about 10 friends who share my hobbies.
I arrived a little earlier than my reservation, but I was quickly shown to my seat. I couldn't finish the rice bowl dishes, so I ordered a la carte, and the grilled yellowtail with Kaga-style straw burning and the broccoli tempura were particularly delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The master and staff are all wonderful people, and together with the delicious food, I was able to spend a happy time. I was also recommended by the locals, and I tried the highly recommended spring roll salad, which was delicious. I heard that they originally ran a rice ball shop, and the popular rice balls recommended by the staff were each carefully made and incredibly tasty. I tried various other dishes as well, and there was not a single miss with the seafood or meat. It seems to be popular with tourists, so I think reservations are essential when you go. I would like to visit again when I go to Ishikawa.
