In September, there are only a few places where you can eat shaved ice, but you can eat shaved ice all year round.

I got a lovely looking one 🧸♡♡♡

This year I've been eating a lot of tea ice and fruit ice, so I ordered caramel for the first time and it was simply delicious!
The syrup matched the ice and it was really sweet, rich and delicious!!!

They also had soft noodles on the menu (something that used to be served at school lunch in the past), so I want to go back for that when the weather gets colder 🏫.

A specialty shop for hot and juicy Ueda-style fried chicken
The 'Ueda Karaage Center' is a renowned fried chicken shop that has won a gold medal at the National Karaage Grand Prix. Their signature 'Oishidare Karaage' is coated in flour and fried after you place your order, ensuring that it is always served hot and juicy. Its convenient location, directly connected to Ueda Terminal, adds to its appeal, and takeout is also very popular. This is the perfect spot for those looking to casually experience local flavors.
It was fatty, fluffy and crispy on the outside, and very tasty.
I wish there had been a little more rice than the amount of eel.
The grilled liver was also great.
Uotami is an establishment that captivates with its calm Japanese atmosphere. Located just a minute's walk from the station, it's easily accessible for those with limited time. We offer a diverse menu centered around Japanese cuisine, including sashimi and local dishes. Enjoy a soothing moment in a space filled with the scent of wood.
Mayu and "Sleepless Jimpachi" back from Obon vacation.
I love this restaurant where you are told that you are served an appetizer, a shichirin is placed in front of you, and you are offered a variety of seafood to choose one of your favorites.
On this day, I chose dried ray fins soaked in flavor and a plump blowfish that looked as if it would tear off its meat.
Everything is delicious here.
The chicken skin gyoza was the best.
The photo shows hamo tempura, summer vegetables and mussels with garlic butter, mentaiko dashi maki tamago and seafood yukke.
The menu changes, so I hope to go back.
On the way home, I had ice cream with Mayu, took pictures and videos, and played with her.
She's as cute as ever. I want a girlfriend.
Come back anytime.

New Golden Ueda Station Front is a lively tavern that exudes a Showa-era atmosphere, operating continuously from 11 AM to midnight. When I ordered the basic course, I was surprised by the large plate of Caesar salad that came out first. The seasonal soup was hearty and creamy, with a very smooth texture. The baked Camembert cheese was crispy and melted on top of the baguette, with a hint of maple providing a perfect accent. The main fish dish featured the skin of the sea bream, which was perfectly crispy, and it paired excellently with the mashed potatoes underneath. The red meat steak was served rare, allowing for the fun of changing the flavor with wasabi and rock salt. To finish the course, I had rice and miso soup, leaving me feeling satisfied as I got up from the table.
