A delicacy made from autumn salmon, a specialty of Hokkaido, finely cut, washed in seawater, and dried in the sea breeze. Grilling the dried fish enhances its savory flavor, making it more aromatic and tender, with the taste of salmon spreading in your mouth the more you chew.
Freshly caught herring finely sliced and marinated with salt and rice malt, slowly aged to create a traditional dish from Hokkaido. It features a rich umami flavor with a spicy kick from red chili peppers, and a melt-in-your-mouth texture that is full of flavor.
The name comes from the idea that one cannot help but drink sake with this dish, as it is said to be so delicious that you would want to 'steal' it. By combining sake stealing made from bonito entrails with cream cheese, it creates a mellow flavor that pairs perfectly with sake.
