Miyake Brewery's Yakushima Sweet Potato Shochu 'Miyake' is made using this famous water and carefully selected sweet potatoes, brewed with white koji. It has been finished to be a smooth and easy-to-drink sweet potato shochu, but due to its limited annual production, some of it circulates at premium prices because of its popularity.
A unique fruity aroma that is hard to believe comes from Kokubu Shuzo's Kagoshima sweet potato shochu, with a prominent citrus scent reminiscent of orange.
