It is one of the three best yakiniku restaurants in Tokyo along with "Meat Mountain" and "Kinryuzan. It is also famous as a high-brand restaurant of KINTAN (including Kintetsu), which is engaged in yakiniku, shabu-shabu, steak, and meat kappou. Visiting during the GW period, the restaurant was almost fully booked despite it being a national holiday. The restaurant is located on the 41st floor of a building with a great view, and we were given a counter seat by the window (but we couldn't enjoy the view much because a major advertising agency, D Company, was standing in front of us...). Wagyu beef top rib set meal (2,480 yen) I am not sure if it was the intention of the restaurant, but there were two types of ribs on the plate, one with a lot of meat and the other with a little more lean meat, which turned out to be just right. Of course, you can have another serving of rice, salad, and soup. After the meal, coffee or tea is standard, as well as dessert. Because of the excellent location, there were couples all around us even though it was lunch time.

Shiodome [Hoshiyuzan I went to Tenku Yakiniku on the 41st floor of Shiodome City Center. I only knew that it was apparently a KINTAN affiliate, but the location made it a bit luxurious. Unusually, I was somewhat nervous as I took a seat at the spacious table. It was the birthday of an important junior colleague of mine, so I had ordered the anniversary course with Matsuzaka beef cake when I made the reservation, but looking out the window at the view of the building district, the atmosphere was a little uncomfortable. Perhaps I am not well trained enough to feel away from home in Shiodome. However, when the sirloin and white tongue yukke arrived, I laughed at myself for not knowing why I was relieved because of the usual KINTAN atmosphere. The tension was lifted by the unotan caviar nigiri that arrived at the same time, and when I opened a bottle of champagne, the 30-day aged KINTAN and the black tongue appeared for comparison. The tang is seasoned perfectly, so it is salty enough without lemon juice. The next dish, grilled Matsuzaka beef sirloin, is seared by the staff with great skill. We were all entranced by the Matsuzaka beef as it was seared while sliding down the grill like a shooting star💦. The seared sirloin is placed on a rice ball and drizzled with a surprisingly rich egg yolk. The delicious taste of the yolk-covered Matsuzaka beef spreads in your mouth, and you are enraptured. Just as we were feeling happy, the cake box appeared. When Mayu, who was celebrating her birthday, opened the box, a Matsuzaka beef cake with a message on it appeared. I was impressed by how well the menu was connected. The Matsuzaka beef was gone in no time at all, while I was entranced by the beauty of the meat. The sauce was also more tangy than the usual KINTAN sauce. I wonder if it is made to go well with good meat? Next came the closing dish, a stone-roasted bibimbap with foie gras and truffles, a dish with a bad name alone. It was not bad, and I easily finished it even though I was feeling full. I wish I had a little more! I wish I had a little more, but I think this is just about right. Finally, the last of the gelato using liquid nitrogen appeared. This time, I chose mango. No matter how you look at it, when you put the mango juice in the bowl, a smoke of steam starts to form the moment the staff puts the -196°C liquid nitrogen in the bowl with their familiar hands. As I was thinking that this production was also amazing, small grains of cold vapor, or ice, were scattered, and for a while I felt like I was in a summer theme park attraction. Before I knew it, a thick mango gelato had been made, and I cheered again. I was surprised not only by the taste but also by the various entertaining effects. I know I've spoiled a lot of things, but I might want to use it again for someone's birthday that I haven't read about. Thanks for the food 😋. And happy birthday, Mayu 🎉 .
