The home-style dishes are all carefully prepared and have a comforting flavor. The oden has a gentle sweetness, and the daikon and egg were infused with flavor, making it hard to stop eating. The fried oysters with shiba-zuke tartar and the tuna cutlet were particularly impressive and paired perfectly. The hamburger with bamboo shoots and the rice cooked with sea bream and bamboo shoots were also fragrant and satisfying. The sashimi, obanzai, salt koji chicken tempura, and broad bean tempura can all be enjoyed in a well-balanced way. I was able to enjoy my meal slowly in a calm space, and even the finishing sea bream chazuke was delicious.
