Horumon Chiba Shinjuku

The restaurant has a casual atmosphere. Seating is limited to U-shaped counter seats, and the close proximity between staff and customers allows diners to enjoy their meal in a warm atmosphere while enjoying freshly grilled horumon. The at-home, lively atmosphere makes it the perfect place to spend a pleasant moment with friends or colleagues.

Horumon Chiba was opened in November 2004 at Kyoto's Kiyamachi Sanjo Kamigamaru. The predecessor, Mr. Chiba, through trial and error with the goal of "providing the best tasting food in Japan," perfected the current style of grilling horumon on a sloped iron plate with a gravy opening, in front of the customers. When it first opened, it was a small restaurant with only seven seats, but after relocating twice, it has maintained its original taste and style for about 20 years.
