A long-established yakiniku restaurant that has been in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, for over 45 years has opened a restaurant in Tokyo.
It has been selected as one of the 100 best restaurants on the food log, and has been visited by Anjush Watabe.
It is a 5-minute walk from Shinjuku-Gyoenmae Station and a 15-minute walk from Shinjuku Station.
The restaurant has four tables and a relaxed atmosphere (similar to that of SATO BRIAN).
At each table, the restaurant's waiter carefully grills the meat.

Shiitake Mushrooms
Whole grilled shiitake mushrooms from Sakura City, Chiba Prefecture. There is a soup made from shiitake mushroom dashi on top, which is recommended to drink first. The shiitake broth is very effective and you can fully enjoy the "sweet and delicious" taste of shiitake mushrooms. Of course, there is also a salty taste, which adds a nice accent.
This is a dish that I have never had at any other restaurant.
Liver
This liver is the best I have ever tasted. It has a mild taste without any odor, which people who do not like liver say. It is a taste that overturns the concept of liver and is a dish for those who do not like liver.
Harami
This dish also has no unpleasant feeling of fat, and you can enjoy the sensation of "heavenly swimming".
Rump
This is the dish in which we enjoyed the sweetness and tenderness of the meat the most.
The flavor lingers in the mouth, and you can enjoy the refined sweetness without using any unnecessary ingredients.
It was a very satisfying dinner.

Osteria Il Leone is a hidden Italian restaurant just a minute's walk from Shinjuku Gyoenmae Station. The chef, trained in renowned Italian restaurants, offers authentic flavors, with dishes cooked over charcoal being particularly popular. At the counter seats, you can enjoy the live experience of watching your meal being prepared, and the attentive service is another highlight. This warm and inviting standalone restaurant is perfect for both dates and family outings.
The food was excellent in both presentation and taste.
The sautéed pork loin with ginger sauce was more than I expected and just right for sharing.
We also enjoyed the variety of wines by the glass.
The waitstaff was very attentive and I would like to return.
