The menu changes with the fish that arrives that day, so I always feel excited. The pufferfish skin with ponzu has a crunchy texture combined with the rich flavor of the liver, making it the best. The sashimi includes items like turban shell, sea urchin, and red sea bream, clearly conveying their freshness. Fried rockfish and shrimp, along with fragrant grilled dishes, follow, making any fish lover smile. I can thoroughly enjoy the finishing touches of Bungo fisherman’s rice and fish soup, leaving a lasting sense of satisfaction. They also suggest sake to pair with the dishes, and I hear they have a full license in the Shijo style, which is convincing of their skill.
