The appearance is like a hellish valley, with steam bubbling up from the devil's red soup! Please feel the carefully crafted umami that goes beyond just spiciness in your mouth! You can choose the spiciness level from three options (regular, medium, and hot). We recommend the regular level, where the umami stands out the most, but spice masters should challenge themselves with the hot option! The red aroma that reaches the kitchen and our customers (laughs) has the kitchen staff coughing and choking, so please forgive us. Additionally, depending on your mood for the day, you can add Korean dumplings (mandu), Korean rice cakes (tteok), or Korean noodles (sari) as extra toppings. The separate white rice goes well with it, but in the end, if you dive into the soup, are you a true Korean food lover?!
A gentle white sesame sundubu jjigae, original to Gururi. The inspiration for this menu came from a request by a regular monk. He asked for a dish that could be eaten during the period when meat is forbidden, and thus it was created! After serving it to the general public, it became popular☆ Now a staple menu item! For those who are not fond of spicy food, we serve it with a completely mild flavor so that everyone can enjoy Gururi's Korean cuisine. However, for those who love spicy food, there is also an option for 'definitely spicy' (laughs).
Based on a gentle white sesame sundubu jjigae, topped with our special meat miso, crunchy boiled bean sprouts, and bok choy. The finishing touch is our homemade spicy chili oil, making it a rich sesame tantan sundubu jjigae. Add Saru noodles for a tantan noodle style! The bright red special chili oil stands out against the white soup, gradually mixing while being served to customers, creating an enticing visual of red on a white canvas.
Limited to 3 servings! If available, you must try it. As soon as an order is placed, the sound of sizzling rice creating a crispy crust fills the kitchen, whetting your appetite. On top of the piping hot rice, a colorful array of seasonal vegetables, daily namul, kimchi, Korean seaweed, and a round egg yolk are beautifully arranged, topped generously with the chef's special 'meat miso' concoction. A sprinkle of precious sesame oil, handmade and air-shipped by a Korean mother, adds the finishing touch! Once the fragrant aroma wafts through the air, it's almost ready! Finally, the deliciousness of today is determined by how much you mix it! The 'bi' in bibimbap means to mix, so mixing is essential. Mix, mix, mix, and mix some more until your heart is content, adjusting the crispiness to your liking. For those who love spice, you can add more of the 'Little Devil Sauce' as a topping. If you're not a fan of spicy food, you can mellow the flavor with our homemade tartar sauce. And for an extra option, adding 'oozing cheese' as a topping will make your taste buds melt!

To finish, a sprinkle of precious sesame oil, handmade and air-shipped by a Korean mother, is added! Finally, the deliciousness of today is determined by how much you mix it! The 'bi' in bibimbap means to mix, so mixing is essential. Mix, mix, mix, and mix until your heart's content, and let go of your daily frustrations! For those who love spicy food, you can add more of the 'Little Devil Sauce' as a topping. For those who are not fond of spiciness, you can also change the flavor to a milder one with our homemade tartar sauce.
Responsible for the sweet and spicy side of 'Which chicken are you? Sweet and spicy? Or perhaps guilty pleasure?' This is the sweet and spicy yangnyeom chicken topped with chopped peanuts. In Korea, there's a saying that goes, 'When it comes to beer, chicken is a must! Chimek!' which highlights the perfect pairing with beer. You won't be able to stop eating! We also offer a super spicy version and an option with grilled cheese on top!
Responsible for the 'Which chicken are you? Sweet and spicy? Or the sense of guilt?' side, this is the burnt honey butter chicken topped with crispy almonds. Inspired by the once-popular honey butter flavor of Korean potato chips, we sautéed it in a frying pan and coated the chicken! It's definitely recommended for those who are not good with spicy food and for children!
This is the signature dish of the restaurant where I trained after returning to Japan from a round-the-world trip. Not only is it loved by the regular customers, but all the staff working at the restaurant also adore this dish, and we often enjoyed it as staff meals. It's an unforgettable, addictive taste. I couldn't resist wanting to eat it again, so I got permission from the manager to learn the secret soy sauce recipe, combined with our homemade tartar sauce and the cute, round, crispy juicy chicken. We are excited to share it with everyone!
Here is the curry recommended by a couple of travelers from Japan and Korea who have traveled around the world! This is a recreation of the coconut curry tasted in Rishikesh, the yoga holy land by the Ganges River in India. The sweetness of coconut intertwines with complex spices, creating a delicate balance that is sweet yet spicy, and spicy yet sweet, making it the number one repeat dish! It's a dish from around the world! It has a moderate level of spiciness, so please enjoy it with our homemade pickles as a palate cleanser!
This is the chicken version of shrimp coconut curry. It is recommended for those with shrimp allergies, those who dislike shrimp, those who want to eat meat, and those looking for a filling meal!
This is the most popular side dish at Gururi☆ The moment you open the lid of the Korean stone pot, steam rises, and the aroma of fluffy Korean dashi and fragrant sesame oil fills the air. The deliciously wobbly and fluffy eggs elicit exclamations of 'Wow!' from our customers. (Serves 1-2 people)
An explosion of eggs overflowing from a Korean stone pot! This is our original Korean Stone Pot Explosion! Chawanmushi. It's guaranteed to be Instagram-worthy! If successful, it will explode!! If unsuccessful, it won't explode! It's the complete opposite of a science experiment (laughs). After six months of research and development, twists and turns, and daily trial and error, we finally created the Korean Stone Pot Explosion! Chawanmushi, just when we were starting to dislike looking at eggs. Please enjoy this overwhelming experience. (Serves 3-4 people) *Reservation required* Due to the time and effort involved, this is a limited menu available only at night and for one group of simultaneous orders.
・Bear-shaped rice ・Juicy fried chicken ・Korean seaweed (4 small pieces) ・Crispy French fries ・Smile potatoes ・Vegetables (sweet corn, tomatoes, etc.) ・Others (namul, fried vegetables, etc.) The bear-shaped plate comes with Edison spoon & fork cutlery, which is a special touch. (A Korean-Japanese couple raising children together. We packed the menu with items our own child loves. We have a tatami room on the second floor for families with children to feel at ease. Please make a reservation.)
A signature dish of Gururi, the most popular dressing! It's a versatile dressing that can be used not only for salads but also for chilled tofu, fried eggs, omelets, fried foods, gyoza sauce, and chijimi sauce.
This refreshing dressing is made with plenty of shiso leaves and pairs well not only with salads but also with chilled tofu, seaweed, pork shabu-shabu, and steamed chicken. In summer, it can be combined with cold noodles for a fragrant boost that energizes your meal!
Made with plenty of sweet, ripe persimmons. This dressing features a gentle sweetness that pairs well not only with salads but also as a sauce for sandwiches and with chicken tenderloins.
A cherry blossom-colored dressing made from cherry blossom petals. We focused on creating a beautiful hue that is soothing to the eyes. It has a subtle sweetness and no distinctive odor.
■Homemade Raspberry Cordial (from Anne of Green Gables) [Limited Quantity] The raspberry cordial that appears in Anne of Green Gables is, simply put, raspberry syrup. Popular drinks in the store, such as hot raspberry tea, raspberry soda, raspberry grapefruit, and raspberry iced tea, are made using this homemade raspberry cordial. We have bottled it so you can enjoy it at home as well. Dilute it about 3 to 4 times, and it’s delicious mixed with soda, water, tea, juice, or beer! It can also be used for desserts, such as yogurt, pancakes, and ice cream! We look forward to seeing it used in various ways!
A popular drink in our store, the homemade red shiso soda and homemade red shiso grapefruit juice are made using this homemade red shiso syrup. We have bottled it for you to enjoy at home.
