The popular Mala Soup—which combines the numbing heat of Sichuan peppercorns with the fiery kick of chili peppers—makes its debut this summer. Generously seasoned with spices, it offers a rich, complex flavor that goes beyond mere spiciness. Drizzling the separately served mala oil over it enhances the aroma and adds an extra kick.
