Focusing on fresh seafood caught in the Shakotan Peninsula and the suburbs of Furuhira Town, we offer a diverse sushi menu that includes nigirizushi, kaisen donburi, sea urchin chirashi, and seasonal seafood sashimi. The freshness of the seafood, the size of the ingredients, and the balance between the ingredients and the rice are highly evaluated, allowing you to enjoy the seasonal flavors that only the local area can offer.

The interior of the restaurant has a calm, long-established atmosphere, with a sense of history from the storefront and building. With many seats, a tatami room and a private room-style hall, the restaurant is crowded with locals and tourists. The air of the sea and the aroma of sushi create a special experience for visitors.

Shinya Sushi was founded in 1958 in Kodaira-cho, Kodaira-gun, Hokkaido, and the third generation of the family continues to support the restaurant today. For more than 60 years, the Shakotan Peninsula has been offering sushi items from the local sea, and the restaurant is deeply rooted in the community as "a sushi restaurant that continues to preserve the taste of Shakotan.

Mr. Tagishi, the third generation owner of Shinke Sushi, offers sushi that can only be enjoyed in his hometown of Furudaira, with the "taste, technique, and heart" that has been handed down since the establishment of the restaurant in 1958. He carefully selects the freshest seafood from the sea of Kodaira, and while preserving the traditions of the area, he creates an evolved version of each dish, nigiriing it with all his soul and love.
