LUCE (Loo-cheh) opened on June 10, 2023, and has attracted attention as a newly added Italian restaurant in Higashisakanoue-chō, Nagaoka City. Its carefully prepared dishes that emphasize seasonality and its tranquil atmosphere have earned support, increasing its presence as a local dining spot. It is expected to take root in the community and gain more fans going forward.

Representative Mr. Toguchi has about 20 years of experience running Italian restaurants and wine bars in Tokyo and became independent at age 26. After that, he deepened his knowledge of wine and cuisine and in 2022 moved to Nagaoka City, his wife's hometown. He opened LUCE in June 2023. He also holds a wine sommelier qualification and is a passionate chef who proposes new dining experiences by pairing Nagaoka's local ingredients with wine.
