Kaisendokoro Fuji

Taking advantage of its location near Lake Yamanaka, the restaurant mainly serves seafood dishes using fresh fish directly shipped from Yamanashi Prefecture and its few fishing grounds. We offer a variety of dishes such as sashimi, seafood rice bowls, grilled fish, and deep-fried fish, and try to keep the cooking as simple as possible to take advantage of the flavor and freshness of the fish. Local vegetables are also used as side dishes and garnishes, making the dishes very palatable.

The restaurant is located on the first floor of the Nakayoshi Building, and is blessed with a location that evokes the natural beauty of Lake Yamanaka. The natural wood interior harmonizes with the lake view from the large windows, and the light floods in during the day and the subdued lighting at night makes it a relaxing place to spend time. It is a friendly space where tourists and locals alike gather.

Kaisendoro Fuji is a new seafood restaurant opened on May 15, 2024. Located on the first floor of Nakayoshi Building in Yamanaka Lake Village Yamanaka, it aims to welcome people seeking fish dishes both during the tourist season and on weekdays between the lake and the mountains as a "seafood restaurant with local fresh fish.

Mr. Yamada was born in Yamanashi Prefecture in 2003 and hails from Yamanakako Village at the foot of Mt. After graduating from high school, he studied for three years at a French restaurant in a three-star hotel, and experienced a wide range of food genres including Japanese cuisine and Japanese-style pubs. He is now a chef at Kaisendokoro Fuji, serving creative seafood dishes that make the most of the bounty of his hometown, Lake Yamanakako.
