We were supposed to have the crab course, but we changed the course when we received a phone call that morning saying that it was difficult to stock crabs! However, we were very impressed with the 🦀 of female Meshi crab! It was very delicious! The kuei was delicious too! The grilled bracken rice cake was also delicious! I've asked for the next reservation.

It's already the time for young ayu fish 🐟✨. As I watch the owner carefully grilling the ayu fish, I can feel how quickly the seasons are changing: ☺️ And then, hari ika and fresh conch in an 1860 Old Baccarat bowl ✨! Fried white fish in a circle and young ayu fish 🐟. Tsukahara bamboo shoots 🎍. And to top it off, all three choices 🌈 1) Rice with guji and lily bulb (2) Rice with sakura trout and white rice (3) Soba noodles The last one was a beautiful 🌸🍡💕! My impression is that the whole dish is simple and bold 💃💡. Spring ingredients 🌸💡. The visual impact was very strong and the way it was presented was wonderful, it was a dinner in Kyoto with a spring feeling 🌟🍡🍡🇯🇵

My first time ✨Ogata✨. It was delicious! All! Undan and suppon no nikogori no to and my favorite hamo (pike conger)! abalone and glutinous rice! Looking forward to September 🍄☺️🍄! I also received a book by Ogata as a gift along with chopsticks 📖. I was so impressed by the wonderful things in the book 😳 and the detailed information about the dishes they use. I was very impressed with all the wonderful things in the book 😳 4.56 ...

This is my favorite Japanese restaurant in Kyoto. They offer dishes that reflect Mr. Ogata's personality, using carefully selected seasonal ingredients abundantly.

Your own style is well established, and the world view of 'Ogata's cuisine' is clearly conveyed without being confined to the framework of Japanese cuisine. It is a restaurant that inspires me as a chef, and it is definitely a place I would visit if invited.
