Trattoria Cipresso, Tsuchiura Mushikake

The chef has training experience in Italy and utilizes that experience to offer authentic Italian cuisine. As a locally rooted establishment, it continues to be loved by the community. Since opening, it has consistently provided a menu that makes use of local ingredients, contributing to the region's food culture.

The owner-chef is Mr. Sugiyama, a CIF graduate who gained experience mainly in northern Italy. After returning to Japan, he opened a trattoria in Chikusei City in 2007, emphasizing local ingredients, and moved to Tsuchiura City in 2010 to open the current Trattoria Cipresso.
