A Showa-era hidden izakaya in the downtown area

Muhomatsu is an izakaya located in Kayabacho, exuding a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere, where you can enjoy duck hot pot and various fish dishes. Upon entering the establishment, you are greeted by a charmingly aged interior that evokes a sense of nostalgia, creating a warm and inviting space. The duck hot pot, featuring abundant duck meat and exquisitely simmered vegetables in a rich broth, is a standout dish that captivates many.

This shop, located by the river, has a pleasant retro atmosphere. The interior is spacious, making it easy to use when gathering with friends. The variety of dishes is wide, and it's fun to decide which one to choose. I particularly love the dish where edamame is wrapped in gyoza skin and deep-fried, as well as the dish with cheese wrapped and fried. The duck hot pot has a rich broth, and the flavor seeps into the vegetables, making the udon at the end very satisfying. The spicy sausages and grilled items are consistently delicious, making you want to order more.
