A hidden gem for enjoying Chinese tea tastings

Located in a back alley of Amazake Yokocho, Koume Chasou is a specialty shop that offers Chinese tea leaves and teaware. When you visit, you can sample a variety of Chinese teas, all while being enveloped in an atmosphere reminiscent of a small salon. With a rich selection including rock tea and Yunnan black tea, it's a delightful spot for tea lovers to spend a relaxing moment.

In a shop for Chinese tea and tea utensils located deep in an alley, I was immediately served cold tea upon entering. They carefully brewed the tea right in front of me, and I was delighted to be able to taste it generously. They also provided some light snacks, making it a relaxing experience. There are various types of tea, such as rock tea and floral-scented tea, and it's enjoyable to search for my preferred flavors. The staff kindly offered advice and shared many stories I didn't know. Customers engaged in lively conversations, and a cat occasionally appeared, making me lose track of time.
