Mangalica is a rare pig native to Hungary. Mangalica, which was not widely available even in Hungary, is now feasted in restaurants around the world listed in the Michelin Guide. Its rich, lean, marbled, juicy meat has a flavor that sets it apart from other pork, and is very tasty, similar to Iberico pork or Kobe beef. Darker in color than regular pork and similar to beef, it is not only delicious but also more easily digestible and healthier than other pork meats.
