Sushi Shunpei opened on December 7! The restaurant is located in the alley from Motomachi shopping street toward Nankinmachi. Next door is famous for its gyoza (dumplings), Nagyoza Daigaku! Please hold back your craving for gyoza. ・・・・ The interior is stylish and quiet! Two chefs serve gyoza at a U-shaped counter. Two private rooms are also available. We are in the center position in the middle! We can see what is going on in front of us, so it feels like a live performance and is a lot of fun! We toasted with a rare puree sour, Hakata Amaou, 450 yen! The flavor of Amaou is soft and fluffy, just like a girl's favorite! You can order dishes a la carte, but This time, we had the omakase sushi eight-piece course for 7,000 yen. Vinegared red clam The red clam has a delicious crunchy texture. I went there with very high expectations, but it was not to my taste. The rice was hard, with a strong acidity, and I felt that it canceled out the flavor of the fish. The ingredients are also prepared with a little effort, but not all of them were too salty and the flavors were lost. What was strange was that the menu started out exactly the same as that of the customer who was seated with us at the same time, so I thought that we had ordered the same course. The salmon roe sushi in the middle of the course had sea urchin on it, but this one had only salmon roe. It was a small thing, but since we ordered the most expensive course with high expectations, it was strange and made us feel bad even though it was our anniversary.
