We had the Kaisen-don (seafood bowl) with chawanmushi (steamed egg custard), three kobachi (small bowls of cooked food), and miso soup. The kaisendon was a hearty bowl of rice topped with yellowtail, white fish, scallops, and tuna. All were fresh, but the yellowtail was especially delicious, with plenty of fat and a thick slice.
