A popular yakitori restaurant located in Gaienmae. The main chicken used in their dishes is Matsukaze Jidori chicken, as well as Akadori chicken and Oku Kuji Shamo chicken. The cutting method, degree of heat, and skewering method are changed depending on the part of the chicken to bring out the best flavor of the chicken. A restaurant where the thoughtfulness is delightful★☆☆☆ After enjoying the fireworks at Gaienmae Fireworks Festival, we went to Yakitori Hyakumei Restaurant! From the moment you enter, the atmosphere of the restaurant and the wait staff's hospitality will raise your expectations (^q^). I asked for a recommendation, but the menu was so wonderful that I couldn't help but be silent (lol). I went there with my friend's child, but she was very attentive and even the child seemed to understand that the oyakodon was delicious and ate it comfortably. I was so happy that I was able to open a bottle of orange wine! When I complained that I couldn't remember the names of the menu items at the end of the meal, the owner herself took the time to make a note of them even though she was busy, which was very kind of her. Yakitori Imai Top oyakodon with motsu (chicken and egg) A luxurious combination of Matsukaze Jidori chicken and Nagoya Coach motsu. The Nagoya Cochin motsu made a very strong statement without being obnoxious, and the liver in particular was cooked just right and had a good texture on the tongue, while the texture of the hatu and the sweetness of the fatty parts were very enjoyable. In contrast, the Matsukaze Jidori chicken had only a moderate level of flavor and texture. The chicken is supposed to have a clear, clean flavor without any impurities, so I had the impression that it was buried in the oyako-don (chicken and egg bowl), especially among the more assertive motsu (pork). However, as a bowl of oyako-don, it is still one of the best.

Made a reservation for a quick visit after the Jingu Fireworks Festival 🙌 I'm glad I made a reservation because the place was full right after that 🙌 I chose omakase but I don't think they served most of the skewers 🤔🤔. It's a good thing it was delicious 🙌🙌 There was a lot of wine and I drank too much🙆 Food log 3.65 100 great restaurants 2018

Stylish counter-only restaurant where you can watch the food being prepared. The course is good that it is not too heavy with a lot of vegetables! Oyakodon is also available as an additional dish ^_^.

Since it was my first time, I decided on the 4,800 yen grilled course, but each dish was like an a la carte meal. I wanted to eat more and added a lot more. I was very satisfied. I will have a higher course next time!
