Nakameguro, Tokyo Japanese cuisine has recently become the talk of the town for its excellent cost performance. The owner, Mr. Mishima, who is from Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture, trained in Yokohama for 7 years before setting up his own restaurant in Nakameguro. It is a bit of a walk from the station. He left the life of a salaried worker to become a sommelier and a licensed fugu (blowfish) chef. Omakase Dinner Course Fruit tomatoes, water spinach and yams Hamo (Japanese conger eel) Ayu fish Bonito Tuna tag rice balls grilled sea bream Char-grilled suppon Meal: Myoga and baby sardines Suppon ramen noodles Miso soup with tomato and pickles Dessert The menu featured ayu fish and tomatoes, which gave a sense of early summer. Particularly delicious were the Torotaku Ohagi and Suppon Ramen. For example, the juvenile ayu fish had a noticeably bitter taste, and the rice dish had a noticeably myoga, and I felt that it was not that cohesive throughout the course. However, the price of less than 20,000 yen for this volume of food was inexpensive. There are many kinds of wine and sake to enjoy. Please try it once.

The simple Japanese cuisine, stripped of excess, is very delicious, and I visit for meals every season. Mr. Mishima's personality is also good, making it a wonderful restaurant.
