Yakitori Toriyoshi offers handmade yakitori using the finest Kishu binchotan charcoal and carefully selected Date chicken as the main ingredient. Founder Yoshito Inomata opened his first restaurant in Nakameguro, Tokyo, in 1995, drawing on his experience in Paris, France. Since then, he has been providing guests with a quality yakitori experience.

Completely non-reservable, when you suddenly have a craving for delicious yakitori. The restaurant is about a 3-minute walk from Nakameguro Station. Many famous yakitori restaurants in Tokyo have difficulty making reservations, but this restaurant does not accept reservations, so anyone can enjoy delicious yakitori as long as they line up in front of the restaurant. When I arrived at around 6:30 p.m. after finishing my work on time, the restaurant was full, but luckily I was able to get in without waiting long because I was in the same seat as the customer in front of me. Omakase course The course starts when you tell the waiter what you don't like to eat. Since we were with a person who has a small appetite, we asked them to serve our favorite dish "chochin" at the beginning of the course in anticipation of an early finish. I read in other postings that it "depends on the griller," but we hit the jackpot that day and enjoyed it very much. We finished the course with 10 skewers and bought a kijiyaki bento as a souvenir. This is definitely a restaurant that comes in handy when you have a sudden craving for good yakitori. In addition to Nakameguro, there seem to be other locations in Nishiazabu and Akasaka, so if I have the chance, I would like to visit those as well. By the time we left the restaurant (around 7:30 p.m.), there were about 15 people in line.

A famous yakitori restaurant where numerous yakitori chefs are growing up. More and more delicious yakitori restaurants are opening! But reservations are getting harder and harder to come by. But if you come to Nakameguro at 6:00 p.m., there is a good chance you will be able to get in! Because you can't make reservations! If you go early, you can get in! This is amazing, isn't it? The problem is that it opens at 6:00 p.m., but sometimes you have to leave the office early to get your energy up! You can eat here with gusto and work hard the next day or the next week! It is very good because you can eat Torishiki-like taste without reservation. If you think to yourself, "Ah, I want to eat yakitori! If I feel like eating yakitori, I will definitely leave work early to come here!

We ate a lot of yakitori for this price. We ate 13-4 per person. The problem is that you can't make reservations, but we happened to get in smoothly without waiting in line, but we were just full ourselves, and the people who came right after us had to wait in line for about 30 minutes.

This is a renowned yakitori restaurant located near Nakameguro Station. It is also known as the training ground for the owner of the Michelin one-star restaurant 'Torishiki', and is one of the sources of Tokyo yakitori. The ingredients are whole Fukushima Date chicken, grilled over Kishu Binchotan charcoal. The signature kashiwa (chicken) skewer features a luxurious combination of thigh and breast meat, allowing you to enjoy the rich flavor of fat and the texture of fibers alternately. Hidden specialties include thick fried tofu, white balls (quail eggs), gizzards, soft cartilage, onions, bonjiri (tail), liver, sabiyaki (grilled with wasabi), asparagus, and more, served in a style where skewers keep coming indefinitely. The unique way to enjoy it is to declare a stop when you think, 'Maybe I've had enough.'
