Sushi Saisho is a unique restaurant where you can indulge in both meat and sushi. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, fostering friendly interactions between foreign guests and regulars. The incredibly fresh sashimi and unique appetizers are eye-catching, and the exquisite sea urchin and meat roll sushi comes highly recommended. It's a place where you can enjoy a wonderful time along with local sake from Akita.

From the very beginning, appetizers and dishes come out one after another, offering a rich variety that is exciting. The unusual sardines, the white fish served with garlic-scented soy sauce, and the crispy and fragrant sweetfish were particularly impressive. The carefully flaked hairy crab and the tender abalone were also easy to eat, making it easy to enjoy more drinks. When it finally came to the sushi, the engawa and toro were very delicious. The signature sea urchin was irresistible with its grilled aroma and melting texture. The bright and easy-going atmosphere paired well with sake, and I thoroughly enjoyed even the yellowtail collar soup.

From the very beginning, the dishes keep coming out, and it's exciting. Items like sea snail, raw oysters, hairy crab, abalone, and cod milt are carefully prepared, and all of them are delicious. The crab miso cream tempura, the crispy sweetfish with scales, and the beef stew eaten with chopsticks also leave a strong impression. The nigiri, especially the flounder fin and fatty tuna, are particularly to my liking, and even the yellowtail head soup is satisfying. The specialty dish, uni beef, has a pleasant aroma of salt and oil, and melts in your mouth with its grilled fragrance. You can also enjoy sake and draft beer, which pair excellently with the dishes.

Various appetizers keep coming out, and you can enjoy them with excitement. The shredded crab and cod milt pair well with garlic soy sauce and are memorable. The crispy fish dishes and creamy crab miso tempura are also delightful. There's even a beef stew that can be flaked apart with chopsticks, which is surprising. The sushi has a good balance, and especially the engawa and toro leave a lasting impression. The signature sea urchin and beef dish at the end is lightly seared, spreading a wonderful aroma.
